Dean,
Thermocouple options are always in discussion during our meetings. Please feel free to attend our meeting in Birmingham or drop me an Email and I can set up a visit to discuss opportunities for you to do a technical presentation at our next meeting which maybe in Cleveland this fall. Please feel free to email Mark Kropf or give us a call at the phone number listed under the contact us tab of our web site.

My name is Dean Kinter. I am a Sales Engineer with Cleveland Electric Labratories, a leading thermocouple manufacturer celebrating our 91st year. Would your association be open to CEL's support regarding thermocouple options if we join? I beleive our team will be a valuable resource. I am interested in joining. How many members do you have?
Your feedback is appreciated.
Best regards,
Dean Kinter

The Maintenance Guild will hold their Thirtieth meeting on April 11, 12, and 13, 2011.

The twenty ninth meeting of the Maintenance Guild will be held in Birmingham, Alabama with our host Plant being CMC Alabama. This meeting will have a different format to attempt to accommodate better attendance and participation in the round table session. Vendors are invited to all functions and meals except for the Round table sessions on Monday. The technical presentations and tour will be on Tuesday and our Golf outing Wednesday morning. Transportation for the Plant tour will be provided for the group.
We will be staying at the Embassy Suites located at 2300 Woodcrest Place, Birmingham, Alabama 35209. You can fly into Birmingham International Airport which is approximately 8 miles from the airport to the Embassy Suites. They do have a complimentary Airport shuttle service if you prefer. The room rate for the Guild members will be $139.00 dollars per night. To make your reservations, individuals should Call (205) 879-7400) reservations and ask for a room out of the "Maintenance Guild Annual Meeting" block. All reservations will be held after 6PM and guaranteed for late arrival only if accompanied by a first night room deposit or guaranteed to a major credit card.
You need to make the meeting fee payments in advance. The cost for this meeting will be $350.00 (American). Registration and payment can now be made on our website www.maintguild.com or you can fax me a PO number at (330) 479-5061 and I will invoice you for the fees as long as we receive the funds prior to the meeting. This fee will cover the cost of meals, bus transportation, meeting rooms, and equipment. The cutoff date for the block of room we have on hold is April 1, 2011 and we only have 30 rooms in the block so make your reservations soon. After this date the rooms will go on a first come first served basis. There are few hotels close to this location so please make your travel arrangements as soon as possible.
Thursday evening we will have a dinner with a guest speaker from CMC Alabama.
For those individuals that are interested in Sponsorship there will be a group gathering early Wednesday for a round of golf. Sponsorship of this Maintenance Guild function presents a tremendous opportunity to communicate one on one with steel mill maintenance managers and engineers from all over the US, Canada, and Mexico and we hope you will have the time to take advantage of this event. Typical donations for sponsorship have been between $500.00 to $1,000.00 which is used to defray the cost of golf, hospitality and awards. In return for your generous donations we will put your company logo on our web site for either 6 months or 1 year based on the level of donation. There will be a power point presentation running of all the sponsors line cards during the hospitality time and your company name will be added to the meeting hand outs. We will also post your company’s name at the first tee and turn on a poster for all attendees to see who is supporting the maintenance Guild. The level of contribution dictates the level of golf and hospitality that is provided to the participants. Also any promotional items are appreciated. We would like to know no later than April 1, 2011 if you plan on sponsoring and or golfing so tee times can be secured. Donations can be made on our website www.maintguild.com or by check mailed to the Maintenance Guild PO Box 80461 Canton, Ohio 44708.
As before the hospitality suite is open from 7:00pm till 11:00pm for all attendees to come relax and catch up on news with other Guild members. If you have any questions please drop Mark Kropf a note at the above Email address. Detailed meeting agendas will be sent out to all attendees prior to the meeting.
